We are an in home care Dorrigo service provider delivering daily living supports, skills development programs, tenancy support and more for NDIS participants
We provide daily living support and in home care Dorrigo NDIS participants can benefit from in a variety of ways. For instance, we assist with a range of daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, gardening and cleaning, as well as facilitating transport to doctor and other healthcare appointments.
We also provide participants with a range of opportunities to engage in social and community activities that assist in achieving individual development goals. These and other services can be funded from a Supported Independent Living Options (SIL) budget, and help participants to live independently as far as possible.
In addition, we provide support for participants with complex care needs, and for whom high intensity daily personal activities support is required.
We also provide community-based nursing care that is delivered in conjunction with a participant’s GP, family and other healthcare providers. This incudes the management of medical conditions such as diabetes, the administration of subcutaneous Injections, or assistance with a stoma or catheter.
In addition, we provide rehabilitation services and support for patients newly released from hospital. As well as our in home care Dorrigo support services, we also work wth participants to foster their ongoing engagement with the wider community. We can offer, for instance, opportunities to take part in social and recreational activities in an inclusive environment, where fun and friendship can help participants to achieve their individual development goals.
In addition, we also provide participants with the opportunity to take part in Innovative Community Participation programs based on their individual interests and capacities.
As an in home care Dorrigo specialist, we support prospective NDIS participants through the application process and provide guidance on getting a plan approved. Once this has been achieved and a plan has been put in place, we support participants in the management of their budget, including helping them to find, select and engage service providers.
Following on from this, we also help participants to develop capacity so they are better equipped to understand the full range of services to which they are entitled, and how to work with providers to ensure they are getting the best possible value from their plan and budgets.
In addition, we also deliver skills development programs individually and in groups that are tailored to meet the needs both Core Support and Capacity Building Support budgets, and which support participants to develop a range of skills and capacities.
Our range of in home care Dorrigo services also includes support with regard to short term and permanent accommodation for NDIS participants. We can provide short-term accommodation for participants as part of their individual development goals, or alternatively it can be used to provide respite for family members who provide informal care.
This can be funded either from a STA or Core Supports budget, with accommodation being provided in an inclusive group residence with access to high levels of personalised care.
Our support team can also assist participants to find appropriate permanent accommodation, and then help them to develop capacity so that they are better able to live independently as far as possible.
