Contact Us

As a leading in home care provider Brisbane wide, our focus is on supporting NDIS participants to live as independently as possible, either in their own homes or in shared NDIS accommodation. Our trained and experienced support workers provide clients with a wide variety of daily living supports and care services that are designed to make independent living easier, and which also mean clients are able to continue to participate more readily in their local community.

Supports can be delivered to benefit multiple NDIS residents who share living accommodation, or for individuals in their own homes. Under a shared housing arrangement, people living together in joint NDIS accommodation can share the cost of daily living supports, such as household tasks, meaning they are able to derive even greater benefit from their NDIS funding and plan.

Benefits of Daily Tasks / Shared Living

Support for daily tasks is personalised so that it meets an individual’s needs, routines and lifestyle, as well as your particular living arrangements. It can also include Supported Independent Living (SIL) services, designed to assist participants to develop new skills and capacity.

This category of support can therefore take a variety of forms. For instance, it can be in the shape of assistance with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, gardening, and other regular daily living activities that you can’t manage yourself or without some help.

In addition, we provide personal care services too, such as assistance with bathing, toileting, eating and more, all of which promote participants’ health and wellbeing, and also ensure that any medical conditions or potential health problems are identified and care provided as soon as possible.

However, we can also provide specialist disability support for people with a range of complex needs who need high intensity support daily, or even around the clock, to be able live their lives as independently as possible.

Registered NDIS provider with highly trained support workers

Our support workers are chosen not only for their training and skills, but also their ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, as well as their willingness to support you in your goal of living more independently.

We also have on our team specialist support workers who have the training and qualifications to provide care for people with complex needs and who require high intensity levels of support.

All of the team at Memba Care share the same commitment to helping NDIS participants to achieve their development goals while living in shared accommodation or their own home, and to providing access to services and supports that help them to maintain as much independence as they can.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is designed to provide appropriate supports that enable NDIS participants to develop their capacity and a range of new skills, particularly when living in shared accommodation with other NDIS participants.

The aim of SIL is to enable participants to exercise more choice and control over the supports they receive, and then to enjoy greater overall living independence. This is achieved through the support they receive for everyday living activities and household tasks, and which they might not otherwise be able to fulfil.
